Macroeconomics
This course is an introduction to macroeconomics. This subdivision of economics deals with the economy as a whole: aggregate national income and output, government spending and taxation, monetary policy and international trade. Microeconomics focuses on individual economic entities. Macroeconomics deals with the overall level of output, its rate of growth and the level of prices in general
Research methods for Business
This course enables students to design and implement research in business and related disciplines. Students develop techniques in the selection and design of appropriate research methodologies in the identification of a research problem in a business environment. The course examines the research process from problem identification and setting through a review of pertinent literature as secondary sources and an examination of the descriptive survey research design. Particular attention is given to the student’s perspective of the research process and its applicability to his/her career endeavors. It provides a forum for the student to improve research and presentation skills through discussion and practical applications.

Insurance Companies Management
This course explain the main practical functions in insurance companies (insurer), especially, marketing and distribution function, financing function, rating and pricing function, reinsurance function, and financial analysis. These functions are discussed within the prevailing regulations and legal system that govern privet insurer’s functions. Also the course requires students to be able to analyze the practical and financial aspects of insurance companies.
Life and Health Insurance
This course aims to give student the fundamental of life, Accident and Health Insurance. The course will cover categories of the Life Insurance Basic, Regulations of the Insurance Business, Types of Life Insurance Policies, Provisions, Options, Annuities and Retirement Plans, Health Insurance, Provisions, disability Insurance, Major Medical Insurance, and Medicare and Medicare Supplement, and related Insurance Regulations.
Organizational Behavior
This course focuses on introducing Behavioral Science concepts as applied to business and industry. Focus will be on examining factors influencing the Behavior of organizational members. The following dimensions will be covered: The individual dimension: perception and personality. The group dimension: formal and informal groups. The organizational dimension: organizational structure, technology, and leadership. Finally, environmental issues will also be examined.
